Some happenings in SHAMY land...
This beautiful white rose (Pope John Paul II) has been blooming for several days now (even through some major thunder storms... though we did have to stake it to keep it upright) and it's the sweetest smelling rose I've ever smelled!

The Strawberry Bed yielded it's very first fruits ripe enough for us to pick and eat. This little guy was promptly cut into quarters and each member of the family got a taste!
