SHAMY Garden Status - 2014-06-15

Here's the latest state of our SHAMY Garden as of June 15th...

Garden Bed #1 - Tomato, Onion & Carrot... tomatoes are almost outgrowing their stakes!



Garden Bed #1 - As an indicator how tall the tomatoes are getting... my daughter Jill (my garden helper) with the tomato bed in the background.



Garden Bed #2 - The lettuce removed, and the bed resown with Spinach, Lettuce and herbs.

Garden Bed #5 - Potatoes - you can see the beginning of the fall over collapse in the middle of the bed.  This is normal for potatoes, but happened a little sooner than expected in our beds due to the looseness of our soil.

Garden Bed #7 - Corn & Beans... after three weeks' growth, the beans are still outpacing the corn.  We've added the second chain link trellis.
